Chronograph, a provider of portfolio monitoring and reporting solutions for institutional private capital investors, today announced it has completed its Series A round of financing. AlpInvest Partners, a global private equity investor and affiliate of The Carlyle Group (NASDAQ: CG), led the round, and was joined by Nasdaq Ventures. The investment will help Chronograph attract key talent in product development, sales, and operations to support the company’s strong growth. AlpInvest’s investment came from The Carlyle Group’s balance sheet.

In addition, Chronograph has entered into strategic partnerships with AlpInvest and eVestment, a subsidiary of Nasdaq, which will leverage AlpInvest’s significant expertise in the primary, secondary, and co-investment businesses, and eVestment’s leadership in technology, institutional data and analytics, to further enhance Chronograph’s proprietary technology. These partnerships will build on Chronograph’s automated approach to data aggregation and advanced analytics to continue to strengthen the company’s best-in-class software solutions.

Chronograph is a financial technology and data management provider to institutional limited partners and general partners in private capital markets.
